Cleaning

To clean your puffer jacket, first and foremost, we advise you to use a dry cleaner for easier maintenance of your puffer jacket.

Nevertheless, you can also maintain your puffer jacket yourself by scrupulously following the instructions below.

Step 1: washing

Hand washing with water and a little soap (the most delicate method)

Machine washing with two or three tennis balls or other clothes (so that the down is well aerated). Use the program for synthetic clothes (or wool/delicate) and a temperature of 30° (no more). Add your usual detergent and start the wash cycle.

However, be careful to set it to a gentle spin cycle as too strong a spin can create difficult-to-untangle feather clumps.

Step 2: drying

Drying can be done in the open air, flat on a drying rack (lying down and not on a hanger). Make sure the puffer jacket is exposed to the air on both sides. Shake it, pat it, and turn it regularly to ensure good distribution in the baffles.

A tumble dryer on a synthetic program with tennis balls and a few clothes to properly agitate and air the puffer jacket can be another solution.

Be careful never to dry your puffer jacket on a radiator.
